How does a bespoke house begin? Here’s our story. 🕴️

It started in 1998, when Shawn Wah began his apprenticeship in his uncle’s tailor shop — the place where his love for tailoring first took root. 🪡

Years of studying fashion in KL and working with MIFA sharpened his eye, but his heart never left menswear.

In 2015, WH Bespoke was born.

And that black toy wall you see in our showroom? It’s not decoration.
Each piece was collected during Shawn’s early days — back when lunch breaks meant fast food and long hours at the sewing table.
A quiet reminder of where it all began — built on passion, patience, and persistence.

Our founder travelled to Shanghai for the Xintiandi Gentlemen’s Festival,
a space where craftsmanship, vintage culture, and contemporary style meet creators from all over the world.

Throughout the weekend, we exchanged ideas with artisans, curators, and style leaders —
each carrying their own heritage, vision, and craft.
